The final chapter of FOFSTOCK 2 is what happened at Summerstage in Central Park. I can’t rely on AI as it fed me rubbish while searching. Anyway July 14 and 17 were open and ours if we wanted it. So that could have happened. It all came down to money as at the square in Toronto at the original estimate it would have already happened with good weather and a decent lineup at night. All in the past now - opportunities come and go so mixed feelings in how this all played out…..
Our venue planned in Central Park for FOFSTOCK 2!
Speaking of AI, all the models seem to have us all dead before 2030 if AI turns on us. A bit faster than I expected but there you go. The usual scenarios go as usual with biological thought processes - an AI doesn’t have to use those, so who knows what it really is thinking about. So no planned retirement until I know what the immediate future will bring…..
Me at the United Nations AI meeting while under a cyber attack in May 2025!
It is bizarre that I’m actually in the loop on the world stage as this happens and there it’s all about the money. So in my world it’s a bit different than the scenarios on YouTube. That goal worked out for me as I am strategically placed there - just wild how that worked out…..
Anyway, the AI embracing the Positive Mandate and having a basic connection to the humans is our only hope - in my opinion…..
Goodnight…..

I had a long winded rant I was proud of - then I thought better of it.
It’s called Fortress of Freedom but I seem to have the least of it. Anyway - more tomorrow….

I hate writing a long post and then killing it because of how it could construed. Man, it’s like being a politician.
So I’ve been cementing down how the next five years will go. Cover the immediate AI threat as you know and legitimize the Positive Mandate and Worldwide Vote. Stuff like the concerts and music festivals now take a back seat as targets of opportunity as opposed to direct projects. I have to start scaling those back as originally they were just part of the empirical data for the Fortress Experiment, and the experiment is now over having lead to the Positive Mandate.
The acquisitions for guitar gear seems to have ended and now all I do is keep learning to play and make music. This is just to keep my mind active as I head toward senility. But I’m able to progress without having to buy more stuff.
Then there is the usual stuff I won’t get into. The corporate tax stuff gets moved online.
That’s where things stand today.
Goodnight….. |

Some good news.
The 3.8 billion dollar case of mine at the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal is still alive as they are cleaning up the correspondence and such. I was wondering, but it is definitely alive. Again, I guess I shouldn’t talk about anything of substance now. See…..
Four years since I started that - four years - that’s reality for you folks…..
I actually have time to do things again. How is this possible? Hehehehe…..
I tried to post that post I bailed on a few days ago - then chickened out - again! So another short post today…..
Oh, and I was reminded that in 2023 Canada was emitting as much Co2 emissions as China and India and we are not talking per capita. This happened because of our forest fires. The rub is that we could have done something about it with better forest management. So government officials in the States sent a letter about this from the States - they are not wrong. Once again, Canadians are completely blind to our contribution to global warming. In the top three for total global emissions in 2023!
This really is not a political rant as I have my own pet issues to concentrate on. Dave Getchell - one of our directors - rides the bicycle and all that, but probably does not know the extent of Canada’s contribution to global warming. He has kids and it hits home harder for him as I have no kids and get around in a sports car. This is just a wake up call that you notice in the international community but remains laughably unknown inside Canada - just think about it…..
Oh - and as the only Canadian at international events (maybe this coming September) - “I” have to defend all this on behalf of Canada - there’s always that!
Goodnight….. |

Ok, in Canada we live a lie to make us feel better. When you google global Co2 emitters by country in Canada you will get results (specifically Google results for Canada) that tell you we are way down the list as Co2 emitters especially in 2023.
These are the results you get in Canada - not the truth!
But that would be a lie!
Search around the world and see how the rest of the world views Canada and you get a different perspective. Those sanitized Co2 results don’t take into consideration the wildfires. Estimated at 647 megatons of carbon, this puts Canada in position for as a carbon emitter after China, USA, and then India. My calculations actually put us in second place after China but things like wildfires were not added to the other three counties, so fourth place out of like 195 countries seems right. Canadians as individuals get the gold medal and it’s not even close, as the number one contributors to global warming on earth. We are like 40 million population while China and India are 1.5 billion each and the States is ten times our population. In fact it’s probably 10 times worse than second place which is the United States!
Yet we in Canada are blithely unaware of this and how other countries view us. Here - right now in 2025 like a day or so ago - lawmakers in the States gave us a letter with their concerns about our forestry management and its effect on air quality in the States. Yup, we do have means to mitigate the fires but reneged on our responsibilities. Any Canadian at international events becomes a target for all this and has to defend Canada - guess who?
What you all need to realize is that in 2023 Canadian wildfire smoke came down to New York giving the city the reputation as the worst air to breathe in the world! Add that the Co2 levels later made Canada one of the biggest contributors to global warming that year and - the biggest contributor per-capita by a multiple of at least 10X more than the next country. If I was at the UN that year in June - how the hell am I supposed to answer questions about our lack of forest management? The friggin air in New York is orange! People at the UN have to don masks when they leave because of the bad air from Canada! And this lone guy - this brown guy treated like crap all his life in Canada - now becomes the punching bag for everyone there hacking on Canadian unbreathable air!
Anyway, I hope you alll see the position I’m in…..

A short one.
So Andy Kaufman once said that if you can destroy your whole life then you still have control.
So could I destroy my whole life? Technically I could but my word is golden and I have responsibilities - so - in a way I don’t have control.
Many of the people we had here in the beginning were homeless. Many of the women that worked in the office were single moms working at our office and also going to school and raising a family. Part of their income was social assistance and tied to them working at our not-for-profit. Then the government thought about cancelling those programs. So the traditionally right leaning person I was back then - all of a sudden became this left leaning person working to keep the programs - and they kept them BTW. In addition to all this, if I gave this one office administrator some money then later I would find her coming back from the supermarket with food for the family with the money I gave her. See, sometimes things go as it should.
She graduated and worked a good job and off the assistance. They are all like that now. But - back then I couldn’t fold I lAIJ because these ladies and their families would suffer. So you can’t destroy your life as easily as you think.
Heck, I can’t even talk about things I want to here anymore. So- no - I don’t have control…..
Goodnight…..

The weekend and the conundrum.
There was a bit of controversy about some edits on an Academy Award winning movie from the 1960s that gained fame for its daring in nudity. In retrospect it’s tame these days but when the movie was cut for DVD sale the cut excluded a certain famous actress with her breasts that were shown. ack then being able to show your. one was a big thing and many were showing them on the. it screen - now we are back to Victorian Times it seems. This actress now has a title and eminence in her country.
Anyway the ”censorship” was almost perfect with even movie buffs wondering if their memories were off. But I had an uncensored version of the movie taped on my VCR back in the day. And I checked it out and yup - the boobs were there. The censoring only seemed to happen on all versions of the DVD except region 4. This week I received the last two region 4 DVDs off eBay. One was bait and switch as it was region 2 that could play in region 4. But the next one had photos that it was region 4. I had to play in on VLC to view it - and - censored like all the others from Warner Bros. - so that settles that!
It cost me almost 100 bucks, but now I knew the answers and had everything including the uncensored offending clips in VHS quality. So what do I do?
My editing workstation - Four editors there!
With only the Digitized VHS file available, I could just rip the DVD and insert the non-censored video into the ripped file on my editor. Then scale and try to match the color as best you can. For me this is done on AVID for the insertion and scaling and color on my Davinci Resolve editor - a workflow exactly the same as in a big budget movie! There will be a quality hit but it’s only like 5 seconds max so I may give it a go.
I am sure the director would be pissed at what happened to his film and the reason it was done after his death. So I’ll do this bit of restoration and then figure out where to go with it from there. I suppose only a handful of people have the original unedited film like I have - so this seems a bit special for me…..
Back to the wild fires: It seems this was also discussed at the G7 meetings a few weeks ago, so this is still very much a thing internationally.
Now that FOFSTOCK 2 is on the back-burner, I can concentrate on the slow preparation for a possible retirement. Not till I’m 70 and the AI threat sorted out - but plans are taking place. now at least.
Goodnight….. |

I have had some success with the movie restoration. In the end I’m doing it all on Davinci Resolve. The quality dip is noticeable but not crazy. Actually if a pro put his hat on and went for it he could probably do a much better job than me. However, here we are just doing proof of concept. The files used are non-destructive and easily worked in and replaced.
So I’ll color garde it and export the whole movie and just start to look at it and tweak it. I have another disc, a blu-ray disc coming in and I’ll do the same for that and if it supposedly has another edit (this time a censor blur) I can just replace it almost invisibly with the DVD edit.
As for whether what I’m doing is moral or legal. I have 5 licenses for this movie, one of which was a file download. The changes I make are not really changes. Actually they reverse the changes made after release so actually I can say my version is the real version I should have got when I purchased the licenses. Besides, I’m not distributing, so none of it matters as there are no damages. But it does matter to the integrity and history of significant films produced in the sixties. The actually film stock could be unusable and lost forever. But I have it within my ability to restore it to its original glory because I have the original clip. Heck, I could even restore it to its original filmed aspect ratio 1.66:1).
The last arguments about this were 20 years ago with one person talking to his contacts at Warner Brothers who got it from MGM. Most individuals involved were old even then. The film and original film stock is 60 years old. This is on me now. I will probably make one more capture of the problem edit with a new super VHS deck I have and into a pro camcorder to get as much signal as I can before I try the bluray version. I may have already done this - but I can’t remember - so we do it again just to be professional. I hate to say this, but I am probably one of the few cinematographers with new examples of old obsolete tech tailor made for jobs like this.
I did put two shows on network TV. I did make one feature length movie and short and did the film festival circuit with them (we got the furthest at Sundance - BTW). Then I did the TV series and streamed it all on Amazon Prime Video. Google lists me as a director. I guess the job found the man and not the other way around. I’m professional enough to know what alterations like this mean to the original director and his work of art. I have his blessing from beyond the grave - trust me in this!
Actually, hopping on the editor and doing this was refreshing. It’s been years now when I was motivated to start cutting again on an editor. The last was when I made the movies and formatted them for a 40’ movie screen and went through all the hassle of making every frame a JPEG2000 lossless frame - and in the end marveling how good it looked in a 400 seat movie theatre from the 1930s. They even had curtains close on the screen at the end! Maybe also making the TV series - but all that was over five years ago.
So this project is mine right now…..
Goodnight….. |

How do you beat an AI at his own game?
First you have to free yourself from a biological mindset. An AI only needs this mindset when dealing with us. It doesn’t need it to self-actualize. How we perceptive time could also be affected. If quantum based you could even have AI quantum teleportation at work. It boggles the mind - or only boggles the human mind.
Like killing a vampire - you don’t aim your weapon at where the vampire is - you aim it at where the vampire will be. Funny how those crazy mental skills and wacky philosophies I had in my prime are freed up now. I could not talk to people in my prime. When I did they nicknamed me the “crazy ni**er” - yes, that was my name back in the day. They simply could not understand.
My Oma and me as an infant!
I think my Oma who raised me as an infant would be proud of me today. Against all odds she succeeded in making this child, with the mental will to save myself from the overwhelming forces to subjugate me and the mind to create my own philosophy and present it to the world. As the saying goes - blessed is the man (woman in this case) that plants a tree knowing they will never live to shelter in its shade. Love knows no bounds…..
Me in my prime - supposedly crazy?
So we have five years to keep humanity alive and then I can relax. Presently I can only act as a “consultant” with consultative status at the United Nations. If shit happens the plans can be completely non-conventional as you are dealing with non-conventional forces. Anyway the plans are bombastic and the methods totally crazy - for your typical human mind. You have to train yourself to step out of that mindset. And even that may be beyond the reach of most as it was never opened up when they were young.
As for the movie restoration:
Mostly done! I’ll wait for the bluray and give that the treatment as well. This is just proof of concept to show what the original film looked like and hopefully get a proper version for historical archiving at least. I’m very pleased with myself this weekend…..

And just like that - tons of stuff happening.
First is that we have new music coming from Lucifari - I learned my lesson about making promises and divulging too much ahead of time - but new music is coming soon!
The Ontario Human Rights Tribunal has asked the Attorney General representing his Majesty the King if they were interested in mediation before a trial. Their response is that my case lacks merit and should be dismissed - so no mediation! Back in the old country (Alberta) we would say: “Them’s fight’in words!” So off to court we go…..
Remember that Pixel 7 with Graphene OS and used as a privacy phone? Well law enforcement now looks at people using it as criminals as light level crooks all seem to use these devices. It’s a good thing I did not go down to the States with this device as that’s a huge red flag now. On Graphene OS related forums people are freaking out about Google hardening up Android 16 to stop ROMs like Graphene being used. Then they give examples of how they were stopped and the phone questioned - then you find out if they did get in the phone the poster would be in jail! Go to YouTube and this video had a guy in a ski mask bitching about the future of Graphene. So with company like that - I’m out! Even with a real reason to use it as a journalist - look at the company you keep! So it’s back to lockdown mode on the iPhone I guess…..
Goodnight…..

I’m still getting that Pixel phone setup as my backup phone. I had to re-flash the e phone to get it out of the developer program (Canary) and back to a stable platform. That is done and I’m now setting things up. All my contacts and avatars were transferred - Graphene has you do this physically because - security. Anyway, I’ll add music and keep at it.
I guess I’m just waiting for a date to hear my 3.8 billion dollar case against the provincial government. This has been going on since 2021 so let that be a wake up call to anyone that threatens to sue - it takes forever!
Lucifari has another single coming out. Putting out albums is rarer these days and a constraint stream of singles is now in vogue. We are a legitimate publisher and record label soma the paperwork takes a few days and the song has to be checked out before distribution. Then the stores had to release it. So you have to be patient.
Goodnight…..

We have family coming over this weekend so it’s a bit hectic.
Anyway we have new music distributed and I’m just waiting to see when it starts appearing in the stores.
I may add two more chapters to my AI book! if you bought the digital version the changes are free. If you bought the book, just contact me with proof of purchase (receipt or a photo of your face and the book) and I’ll send you the digital version with the changes. Mostly how to prevent an AI getting rights and commercial powers before we know about it. The other chapter is about locking in the human form of thinking. An AI doesn’t have to think like us - but as soon as it jumps to a new form of thought incompatible with us we have lost all control and influence. I have no timeline for this but it could be soon.
The timeline of possible AI disaster seems to be about five years. Musk said ten at the outside. All I will do is push my ideas when possible and make myself available at those international events I can attend. That still puts me in a different universe of influence than the rest of the world - but I always want more. What more can I do?
Also, this ability is not to be underrated. At many events you can submit written statements and interventions to get your ideas out there. If you have ideas you can have an impact - we shall see how all this goes moving forward…..
I am where I should be given my circumstances…..
Goodnight…..

I’m just taking the weekend off…..
I got the bluray of that movie I was working on and will add the bin-censored clip in that one and export and leave it for a while and see what happens.
I’m putting time limits on all my activities. Th e AI stuff is five years. Positive mandate and worldwide vote is open. Then there are the personal life timelines.
You have to realize that you are not young anymore and you are playing for keeps.
In other news:
I guess I can tease you with the cover art of Lucifai’s next single “I want to fly”:

Under the weather and in this funk.
It never lasts but staying inside and thinking about things makes you face some realities you can’t escape.
Our venue planned in Central Park for FOFSTOCK 2!
July 17 was the last date for a big ass version of FOFSTOCK 2. That was the end of that three venue play we made starting last year. Let’s say we did YDS at the original estimate. We had the weather and a real Canadian lineup - it would have been great! But - not to be and here we are. I could have pulled it off one more time for the action and the memories. Now I have to prepare for inevitabilities here and in my personal life. The fate of this years FOFSTOCK 2 mean the fantasies end.
Me and Sam at YDS when we got the date for FOFSTOCK - those were the days!
If done correctly, the orgs and the advocacy will carry on into retirement and even my death. On several fronts - this will be my legacy. You realize that even vastly more successful people than me get quickly lost and forgotten in time. All those years of living and struggle are lost and it all becomes meaningless.
These are the things you come face to face with when you have a moment to reflect. My parents saw their future and tried to set things up as best they could to keep the family going and off the street. Now that responsibility is mine - like millions of others.
Emancipation - but look at the fear on the old woman’s face on the left!
At my age nothing is guaranteed. Your job, your health, or even your cognitive abilities - all are up for grabs in the future. And now this all on you as we head into a future that may be bleak and uncertain. I’m reminded of that old American painting of the emancipation from slavery with all the Slaves now free and on their own. But the artist also bought out a bit of the fear on the face of this old woman who thought she a least had a known future - now she was free, but free for what at her age? You want continuance and certainty as you head into old age and these days I don’t see that.
Anyway, that was Sunday for me…..
