The last of my VCR tapes have been thrown out. All that time recording movies and now all obsolete. Oh well.....



I spent the night at my dad's house and got a sheet of ice caked on the car for that! Also the check engine light is on again! No biggie as I had it on a few weeks ago but it just reminds you that this stuff happens to everyone.....

A quick one.....



iOS 26.4 has messed up my ability to connect with servers. I can still up and download from my ftp program in my servers but sending my FOF Entertainment Inc to the CRA servers is an issue. It's the phone hotspot as wifi at my father's place works. So, tomorrow I will take my PC and take it to his place and hopefully send it from there. Funnily the browsers works but not to servers. I keep my tax stuff on a PC (tower) because sometimes you need to travel with a laptop and laptops can get stolen or confiscated and all the rest. So it's a hassle to take it to my father's place but that's just the way it has to be.....

GrapheneOS. AS I am a journalist and founded a journalism association, I have several privacy phones. I would say I am weary of the path Graphene has taken wth these phones, literally being seen as media phones as opposed to privacy phones. Partnering now with Motorola - I just see compromises with the philosophy as I'm sure compromises will be made, and that is compromises you don't want to stake your life on. So if you have had GrapheneOS for a while - I would just rock on with it as is and not update. I think updating may compromise the phone of you know what I mean.

I am also going to change the question on the Worldwide Vote tonight.....







If any of you were wondering what was happening with the 3.8 billion dollar Covid 19 case against the government - well? They tried everything to quash it and we are now five years in. One case yesterday took 10 years to happen. So why did I do this? I did this because this is a medical case and the older folks don't know how, nor do they have the time to ride a human rights case like this out! Also, I adhere to that moral imperative and act on it.









Make no mistake I am a monster. Apart from my Oma and immediate family, I was treated like shit and had everything society gives you for being a citizen taken away. Education, dating, work and career, and even a feeling of belonging. That and the lack of dating was the worst. Anyway I have some big chips on my shoulders but I am smart and adhered to that moral imperative and came out with my own concepts and philosophy now in play.




Nope, the amount is for real - in spite of spelling mistakes!



But at my heart I am evil - but so is everyone else. We all have to be made good by society, religion and all that, otherwise we devolve to our animal natures. So yes - I am a monster but I rationalized that the best course was to work the world and try to prevent what happened to me to happen to others and in so doing eliminate untold amounts of human suffering - and this has not proven to be useless!



So a monster - but with a reformed heart. My Oma wanted an Overman and made me instead. Nietzsche never counted on that!

Saturday is back to a normal life day.....



I washed both cars of their winter salt and grime - and that should be it till next winter.



I'll apply to speak at his UN event though the real progress was made at side - social events tied to the United Nations.



I start work in my personal taxes. I do 12 in all right now each year!




My Fender Vintera II Jaguar!



I bought a mute plate for my vintage 1970s Jaguar. The new ones come with a mute switch installed and mine does not. But mine has the rare maple fret board with black block inlays and black neck binding. The new one just has an ordinary rosewood fret board With no binding but the mute assembly at he bridge. So I bought the mute hardware and will just keep it in the bag as people usually just took this strange device off, back in the day. But I just do not want the dreaded "fear of missing out" feeling.

Well, this was almost a nothing weekend just doing family stuff.



I did end up applying to speak about the Worldwide Vote at the Science, Technology and Innovation Forum in May. Don't hold your breath on us getting to speak there. However, you never know. I have one more venue to apply this coming week.



Personal taxes are the thing now - taxes and taxes. Taxes make the world go around.....

A quick update.....







This morning I sent a request to speak at the HLS event at the United Nations and prior to that the STI Forum in May. I will also submit a written statement to the HLS event to be held in June. The written statement is the only one that really has a chance. I actually was going to skip the oral option, but since I am the only person in 8 Billion pushing this idea of a Worldwide Vote at the United Nations - well, I covered all the bases.....

All about the UN now.....







So the oral statements are in for the Science, Technology and Innovation Forum in May and the High Level Segment meeting in June. I will send a written statement to the HLS shortly. Don't hold your breath on the oral statements though.







However, I got a bonus from the United Nations the same day. I was wondering what happened to the consultative status we sent for FOFSTOCK back in June 2025. So apparently it has been delayed until 2027 and that is that. We shall just have to wait and deal with things whenever they get around to it.

FOFSTOCK may be headed toward a charity legal status. Furthermore we are not adverse to taking over another popular Toronto music festival if the owners are getting tired of that in their "golden years" - you figure it out.....

A minor update.....



I added a song to my iPhone through iTunes and lost other songs and all my downloaded home videos. I couldn't update the iTunes or Win 11 on that old laptop as the iPhone iOS version has screwed that up and is useless. Take the laptop to my dad's wifi, update and laboriously add the songs and videos. Win 11 updates while I am doing that and then restarts bricking the laptop. It was originally a windows ten only laptop that I forced Win 11 on - bricking it, deliberate or chance?



I am pissed but it is what it is. I'm tempted to put Linux Mint on it and be done with Windows, but it is the laptop on the reception desk. I don't even know if there are Linux drivers for the old large copier beside the desk? So instead of recovering Win 11, I may reinstall Win 10 Pro as it's a referb business class laptop. There was not anything important in there anyway.


I'm angry at all this! But I wanted this type of bad luck so there you go.....

You may ask why I constantly advocate for the Worldwide Vote and get nowhere fast.









The answer is that it takes time, and my present goal is simply to make the global vote a familiar talking point - where before it was not talked about at all. Suffice to say the Worldwide Vote after ten years at the United Nations is becoming a known normal talking point even if it is not embraced. Again, what I am doing is normalizing the conversation about public participation at the United Nations. A thankless job - but whatever.....



That's one part.




The other part is they you need a philosophy for "community" and a reason for people to embrace and stick around with this voting tool. At the UN they have the UN Charter, so holding the vote there automatically gives it some reverence and legitimacy. Outside of that, it's just some vote on the internet. However, the Humanity Assembly place does have an underlying philosophy - it's called the Positive Mandate for Humanity. So until we get into the UN, the Positive Mandate will as the unifying philosophy as this unifying community philosophy gives the global vote its legitimacy



One step at a time but slowly we have the makings of that new layer of global interaction - whether it happens at the UN or at some large social platform - or even on its own! Having member nations understand that if they don't embrace the global vote in the early stages at the United Nations - means it will go to places where they have no control at all - is a powerful argument to have it at the UN anyway. Strangely, going it alone with donations and a go fund me is now an actually business plan if need be. I thought that impossible, but with Humanity Assembly set up as a proof of concept - it is becoming a possible viable alternative if all other options fail.....



So that's the broad plan in a nutshell.....

Linux Mint on the laptop in question!



I made a media stick to install Windows 10 Pro on my laptop that bricked itself during an update. I ran the installation tool and it bricked itself again after the first reboot just like the online update. I got worried that the laptop was busted but I easily installed Linux (Mint) with no issues. However, I was so pissed off at Microsoft that I formatted then whole drive to Linux to make installing Windows harder. I now have an M1 Apple laptop. I also have a dedicated Linux laptop and several Windows laptops and PCs. I will probably leave it that way for the time being.....



I also got confirmed to be registered at the STI Forum in May, we shall see if anything happens with the speaking application for that forum, but - again, don't hold your breath!

The written statement has be sent off.....


So we have the oral statement and registration for the STI Forum in May and the oral and written statements for the High Level Segment at the United Nations in June. I finished that written statement and spent some time getting it right because of all the formatting rules. The written statement has a chance, but as always, access to an oral statement on the Worldwide Vote will be denied, as usual - but you never know. Anyway, it is done and now I can go back to paying bills and those personal taxes.....



You do ask yourself why all the hassle as I talked about before. But this is my life's work and we are close to getting somewhere with something here. This reminds me of The Lawnmower Man where this mentally challenged guy gets into an experiment that boosts his brain - but he then sets this goal of becoming pure energy and inserting himself into the internet with his birth cry being every phone in the world ringing at the same time - and in the end it happens.


When we shot the first TV show I took a gamble and just blurted out twice that I wanted to go to the UN and talk about freedom of expression to member nations and so many people laughed at that ambition. In the end it only took 11 years and I have surpassed that goal now as you keep reaching them and having to set more ambitious goals. I always found it funny the movie having all phone ringing around the world as analogous to everyone around the world voting with their phones all at the same time.


In the movie his goal was looked at originally as psychosis - he showed them.....
